DOES NOT IGNITE

When an electric stove does not start, first ensure the stove power cord is plugged in and all circuit breakers are on. You will want to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the stove is plugged in and the pilot light is lit, that means some other part will have to be fixed. The cause of the problem might be the surface element, infinite switch, oven igniter or broil and bake element.

OVEN WILL NOT HEAT

A stove or burner or oven that does not heat will not do much. Your oven will not heat when there’s a broken bake element or a malfunctioning oven sensor. Your burner doesn’t heat if an element breaks or the burner switch or the terminal block don’t work. We know how to troubleshoot and fix these issues in no more than 1-2 hours after an appointment begins.

PROGRAM ISSUES

It is reasonable to assume the control panel on a stove is broken if the program or timer settings do not work. If that’s the case, we know how to repair control boards for GE, LG, Sears, Kenmore, KitchenAid and many other brands and models of stoves, ovens and ranges. We offer a warranty on all of the control panels and replacement parts we use for this type of oven repair service.

OVEN IS TOO HOT

You should have a hot oven. Just not too hot! If the heat is out of control, it could be because of a broken sensor or thermostat. Our repairmen know how to identify the reason for the problem and then fix it. Be careful when troubleshooting this issue for fear of skin burns from the very high and unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is when an igniter glows but it doesn’t light. The cause is from either a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We will determine whether we are able to repair these parts or if we will have to replace the parts.

DOOR DOES NOT OPEN

Modern self-cleaning types of ovens are known to experience door problems often. The door will not open after the cleaning cycle. We monitor the door closure, thermostat and seal to identify why the door will not open and then we complete the necessary repair in order to resolve the issue.
